How an email QR works

  1. Enter the destination address.
  2. Optionally set subject and body templates (support codes, RSVP prompts, etc.).
  3. Style and test the QR, then download or print.

Useful for feedback posters, “email us” packaging, lead forms that should open native mail, and conference follow-ups. QRburst does not validate whether an address exists or deliver any message.

If the inbox changes, regenerate the QR. Device mail apps vary — always smoke-test on iOS and Android before a large campaign print.

Frequently asked questions

Does QRburst send the email?
No. The QR encodes a mailto: link. Scanning opens the user’s mail app with fields filled when the device supports it.
Can I include a subject and body?
Yes. Optional subject and body are included in the mailto URI. Keep bodies reasonably short so the QR stays scannable when printed small.
